Clipduty (hereinafter referred to as "Company") values the personal information of users and complies with relevant laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

3. Personal Information Retention and Use Period

In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of collection and use is achieved. However, the following information is retained for the specified period for the reasons stated below:

4. Personal Information Destruction Procedures and Methods

A. Destruction Procedure

Information entered by users for membership registration is transferred to a separate DB after the purpose is achieved (separate filing cabinet for paper) and stored for a certain period according to internal policies and information protection reasons under relevant laws (refer to retention and use period) before being destroyed.

B. Destruction Methods

  • Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that cannot reproduce records.
  • Personal information printed on paper is shredded with a shredder or incinerated.

5. Provision and Sharing of Personal Information

The Company uses users' personal information within the scope notified in "Purpose of Personal Information Collection and Use" and does not use it beyond this scope or disclose users' personal information to the outside in principle without prior consent. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:

  • When users have consented to disclosure in advance
  • When there is a request from investigative agencies according to procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigation purposes or pursuant to legal provisions

6. Consignment of Personal Information Processing

The Company entrusts personal information as follows to improve services and stipulates necessary matters according to relevant laws to ensure that personal information can be managed safely when signing consignment contracts:

7. Rights and Exercise Methods of Users and Legal Representatives

  • Users and legal representatives may inquire about or modify their own or their children under 14 years of age's personal information registered at any time and may request cancellation of registration.
  • To inquire about or modify users' or children under 14 years of age's personal information, click 'Change Personal Information' (or 'Modify Member Information', etc.), and to cancel registration (withdraw consent), click 'Withdraw Membership' to directly view, correct, or withdraw after going through identity verification procedures.
  • Alternatively, if you contact the person in charge of personal information management by mail, phone, or email, we will take action without delay.
  • If a user requests correction of errors in personal information, we will not use or provide the personal information until the correction is completed.

9. Technical/Managerial Protection Measures for Personal Information

The Company implements the following technical/managerial measures to ensure safety so that personal information is not lost, stolen, leaked, altered, or damaged when processing users' personal information:

  • Password encryption: Member ID passwords are encrypted and stored and managed, so only the individual knows them.
  • Measures against hacking: The Company is doing its best to prevent members' personal information from being leaked or damaged by hacking or computer viruses.
  • Minimization and training of personal information handling staff: The Company limits personal information handling staff to those in charge and assigns separate passwords for this purpose and updates them regularly.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy will be announced through the company website's notice board from 7 days before the implementation of changes when there are additions, deletions, or modifications to the content due to changes in laws, policies, or security technologies.
